At Cascade Pest Control, we pride ourselves on being current with pest management training as well as using state-of-the-art pest control products. Kurt Treftz, owner, and Kevin Peterson, general manager, attended the 2019 PestWorld event—an international conference on pest management. Importantly, we wanted to discover any and all details that could enhance Cascade Pest Control services to our clients.
The event included numerous educational speakers, including a number of entomologists and experts on various aspects of insect and rodent pest elimination.
Innovative Pest & Rodent Control Technology
We took special interest in new technology in rat and mouse trapping with wireless monitoring which informs us when a rodent is present.
The innovative products included all aspects of ant, spider and other insect control and we paid particular attention to products that would work in damp conditions as found in the greater Seattle and Puget Sound region.
While there we had the opportunity to also meet many other experienced pest solutions providers. We particularly enjoyed meeting Janet & Jeff Preece of Zip Zap Termite and Pest Control serving Kansas City, MO and look forward to future meetings.
PestWorld 2019 took place at the San Diego Convention Center for three days – Oct 15-18, 2019. Pest management professionals from across the globe attended the NPMA (National Pest Management Association) annual conference. We look forward to next year’s conference in Nashville, TN and connecting with more pest management professionals!
