Boise Pest Control Office Grand Opening
Cascade Pest Control has had ties to the greater Boise, ID area for decades and now we’re opening our Treasure Valley* office – Grand Opening March 2026! Sakhom Thien serves as field manager and trainer. Sakhom’s experience in various construction trades prior to being educated and trained in professional pest management.
Master Technician & Certified in Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
Besides being duly licensed, Sakhom is a Cascade Pest Control Master Technician, and is a Certified IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Technician by the Entomological Society of America.
Mr. Thien has extensive experience in both residential and commercial pest management. He also specializes in pest exclusion—the art and science of “building out” rodent pests by sealing entry points and securing crevices and soft spots where rats or mice can gnaw a wider opening. Sakhom will train and manage new pest control technicians.
Boise Office Management
He is joined by Ashley Risting (shown in photo) who grew up in Boise, Idaho. She is an upper manager of Cascade Pest Control and helps with service routing and much more. Kevin Peterson is Cascade’s Operational Manager.
*Idaho’s Treasure Valley lies in the basin of ancient 10 million year old Lake Idaho. With the Boise mountain range to the north and the Owyhee mountain range to the southwest, several rivers—including the Boise and Palette—drain into the Snake river. Today the Treasure Valley has a number of cities, including Boise, Eagle, Garden City, Meridian, Caldwell, Nampa and Kuna, within which Cascade Pest Control provides pest management services.
