"In an industry where the "pay for spray" mentality prevails, Cascade has truly been a leader when it comes to educating customers and the public about providing the least toxic pest control. Their goal is to educate employees, customers, and the public about alternatives and options that have the least impact on the environment and human health. A major contribution was their development of the Household Hazardous Materials pamphlet which was produced with a grant by the Department of Ecology."

The biennial award was first given on Earth Day 1997. All recipients excel in leadership and activities that foster environmental stewardship by protecting the environment, managing natural resources and benefiting the community.

Honors the professionalism and service excellence technicians contribute to the structural pest control industry on a daily basis.

Al Brown, now our service manager, was a finalist of the 1998 National PCT Pest Control Technician of the Year Awards.
