Choosing a Reliable Pest Control Company

What to look for in a Pest Control company

How Cascade measures up

Legal?

Company Licensed?
Insured?
Repair Bond and Insurance?
Each Technician Licensed?

Cascade holds WA State Lic. #44327.
We exceed pest control insurance requirements
, and additionally hold insurance and bonding for our contractor's license for pest control related repair work. Each of our technicians-as well as many of our other personnel-hold WA State licensing.

Experience?

The company can't be new, there has to be enough experience to know that you're getting good care that has been tested and proven. Companies that last do so because they have the expertise and heart to build a good reputation and great relationships with their clients.

Two happy clients

Cascade was established in 1979.that's over 28 years inspecting for, finding, observing, attempting a variety of control methods on pests specifically in this Northwest environment.

Cascade Pest Control has company-wide training-our standards expect all our employees to attend trainings-both in-house and at seminars-for pest identification, biology and control, as well as for safety issues regarding pest-borne pathogens and least-toxic pest control methods.

Also, we have a higher than average employee retention rate which tells you that our employees are happy here. But more importantly this means that each individual here at Cascade, on average, is more highly experienced resulting in better pest control to home owners such as yourself.

Reputation?

Nothing, absolutely nothing speaks louder than a company's reputation! All the good web sites, superlatives or neatly appointed trucks matter little without a solid reputation. You need to know you're firmly standing on a bedrock of integrity.

Cascade was the first pest control firm in North America to earn a host of environmental and environmental-health awards. This is significant because any chemical-or even a device-that is used to control pest organisms is considered by the E.P.A. to be a "pesticide," even if it is mint-oil! But not everyone has taken the time to hone their methods such that they result in less-toxic, yet fully effective pest control. And fewer still have worked as much as we have with various environmental groups and regulatory agencies to result in over 12 different awards or recognitions.

Cascade is a current "Honor Roll" member of the BBB.
Recipient of the Western Washington BBB Ethics in Business award and National BBB Torch Award finalist as well. Additionally, a principal of Cascade served as president, the first ethics committee chair and other posts in the Washington State Pest Control Association.
