Step 1 – Nuisance Wildlife Inspection

No matter how cute, wild animals are filthy, and when they take up residence in or around your home they seriously compromise its hygiene. They also damage insulation, wiring, roofing & other parts of a home.

The first step is having a qualified, experienced nuisance animal technician carefully inspect your home exterior, nearby ground, crawlspace, attic, roofline, and also any suspect interior spaces.

In this process animal access points are found, as well as “soft spots” – those places on the home where rodents can easily push or gnaw through – are located. Given the chance, other animals harboring nearby in the neighborhood would certainly jump, climb, squeeze, tunnel and chew their way in again if any opportunity remains. We address both the active access points and the soft spots need be addressed to help insure you won't have a problem again.

Besides determining animal (raccoon/squirrel/opossum) access points, the inspector also locates:

  • Animal nests
  • Activity trails and tunnels
  • Contaminated and soiled surfaces
  • Dead animal carcasses (sources of odor & flies)
  • Damage

Located damage may include:

  • Ruined or seriously compromised insulation (compressed or shredded)
  • Exposed wiring where rodents have gnawed away the insulation causing short circuits and even house fires
  • Chewed access holes in the roofing, usually at eave transitions and rood adjoinments
  • Damaged siding or foundation vents Holes in exhaust ductwork, sheetrock and many other places
