Nuisance Wildlife Control – particularly the control of Squirrels, Raccoons and Opossum – is a 4 Step process.
Omitting one of four steps means the animals are likely to return. Omitting the other means you have a filthy mess with disease pathogens, damage to your home's insulation and a barrier to selling your home in the future.
You need all four steps to solve your pest-animal problem and the problems they've caused...and to keep it solved for good.
When cute wile animals take over our attic spaces, substructure crawlspaces or other areas (under decks/hot tubs or in sheds, etc.) they are in survival mode and become aggressive, tenacious and secretive. They shred insulation and other building materials for their nests then “mark their territories” and fully defend them. So, first, you need a qualified and experienced inspector to determine details of infestation – such as entry points, nest sites, damage and more. A fully detailed report is provided that lays out the necessary steps in providing full pest control, decontamination, structural restoration and future protection of your home.
We work in close association with a Washington State Licensed Wildlife Trapper who has many years experience with a wide variety of nuisance animals. He captures the animals live and removes them from the premises.
Entry points are repaired and sealed--whether on the roof (at roof adjoinments & eaves), loose fitting doors, broken foundation vents, burrows in the soil or numerous other locations. Other locations that are especially vulnerable are addressed. This step is insurance against a re-infestation from the wild population in the greater neighborhood. Also, a careful check is made to verify trapping success and population removal.
Animal droppings and other contamination pose a health hazard. Damage to the structure or insulation is a common occurrence that requires immediate attention. (You certainly you don't want these problems to appear on a home inspection when it comes time to sell your home in the future.)
Droppings are removed. Damaged insulation is removed & replaced. Other damages repaired. Surfaces are sanitized and a deodorant applied.
